| I was born in a beautiful country called Yugoslavia, in Bosnia. I am Serbian, live in Toronto, Canada. Journalist by education and training, I actually started as a film critic. When it looked that I firmly established that career, I abandoned it and began directing for Bosnian Television. That work was well received and made me an "award winning director", which sounds great in English but actually didn't mean much in the world we lived in. I also directed and co-directed several awarded short documentaries about impact of war on ordinary people. Directed any television genre except live sports. In 1996 I moved to Canada as a "stateless" person: director in me got executed. I found myself in a role of an Avid editor... So, after a dozen of years, here I am, directing again! It feels a bit embarrassing to have a feature length debut at an "improper age", but that's how it is. The Cat-project is one of those painfully low budget productions. With this film and those that are to come I want to save some truths that are being flushed down the toilet by an army of white collar "inventors" of our present and past (media).
